Read   the names of the days and the names of the months,
 
 listen   to the recording, repeat   and learn by heart.

Note: All days and months are masculine = der
 
Der Wochentag (Singular)  –  Die Wochentage (Plural)

With week days we use the prepositions „am“ and „von …. bis“:
 

Am Samstag gehe ich einkaufen. On Saturday I go shopping.
Am Sonntag gehe ich spazieren. On Sunday I go for a walk.
Von Montag bis Freitag arbeite ich. From Monday to Friday I work.

 
Der Monat (Singular)  –  Die Monate (Plural)

With months we use the prepositions „im“ and „von …. bis“:
 

     Im Januar ist es kalt. In January it is cold.
